The Bible is a large book, and Christians tend to see all the things they should do and expect transformation immediately. Taking biblical truth and turning it into action is how we become disciples. God wants us to read Scripture to learn the truth and to apply it to our lives. In my experience, what I hear during this time is often more comforting or more convicting than my own thoughts would be. What comes to your mind or your heart? Write it down.
